Adding websites

By using your ShareUsers account you can add as many websites or blogs as you like. For each one of them you will receive some credit to start having traffic.

First you have to sign in and then click on the 'Add Website' link in the left menu or in the Control Panel.

Five steps are required in order to add or set up a website in ShareUsers. ShareUsers gives you the chance to follow those five steps in sequence or interrupt them any time you like.

The first step is to register your website in the community. The following form will appear:

You should have to fill up the form as follows below:

  • URL: Your website or blog address. Typing "http://" in first place, is optional. Once you have introduced your URL, the application is going to try to fill the rest of the fields.
  • Website Name: The name your blog or website is going to have. This name will appear in public and private listings.
  • Description: Explain the essence the website or blog has, along with its topics and sections. It's quite important to fill up this field using as much information as you can, because it is the presentation letter to your website.
  • Tags: Though it is optional, it is very important because it relates your blogs with the other ones. Add as many labels as you like. A label is a word or phrase related to your website or blog.
  • Type: Try to classify your blog or websites in one of the offered categories, so that it will be easier for others to find you.
  • Adult content: If your website deals with adult content (porn industry, weapons, violence...) select this box to comply with the ShareUsers terms and conditions. Notice that your account could be deleted if you break the rules!

As soon as you click on the 'Save' button, your website is going to be added to the ShareUsers community, but will still remain unavailable for the other users. Before being available, you should verify whether this is your web or not.
